根据《中格关于互免持普通护照人员签证的协定》，持有效的中华人民共和国普通护照入境格鲁吉亚可以免签单次停留不超过30日，每180日累计停留不超过90日。如中国公民有来格停留超过上述免签期限的工作需要，请提前向格鲁吉亚驻华使馆申请工作签证。

经询格鲁吉亚驻华使馆，现就格驻华使馆有关申请来格工作签证要求和所需提交材料提醒如下：

一、凡是有在格常驻工作需求的中方人员必须要预先在中国境内办理格鲁吉亚D1签证。

二、申请人应通网站http://www.geoconsul.gov.ge，提交签证申请并上传以下文件：

①已签名的签证申请表（填写完所有表格后，程序将生成签证申请，名称为《Other Official Document》，您将获得账户的临时用户名和密码。请登录，从文件部分下载申请，签名、扫描并上传）；

②护照扫描件；

③签证费支付收据；

④旅行保险（必须涵盖签证有效期的90天，并需考虑签证办理时间）；

⑤工作合同（须在格鲁吉亚劳工卫生部登记）；

⑥用人单位出具的函件或邀请函；

⑦雇主公司的登记文件；

⑧公司年度银行营业额；

⑨申请人本人近3个月的银行存款证明；

⑩照片（数字高清照片，4×5尺寸，白色背景下拍摄，照片的70—75％应为头部，不佩戴任何珠宝、太阳镜或化妆品）；

?住宿证明书。如果公司提供住宿，则需提供证明该事实的文件（租赁合同等）。 

三、申请人应前往格驻华大使馆进行签证面试并出示所有文件原件。格驻华大使馆将于30日内处理签证申请。格使馆不接受团体申请，签证面试和领取签证只能由申请人本人办理。

四、补充说明

1.尚未投产的初创企业无需提供第⑧项公司年度营业额，而需提供银行对账单，表明公司有足够的资金支付所有员工三个月的工资。

2.雇主和雇员不能是同一个人。如果申请人是公司的董事或业主，则应提供公司总会计师的证明（签名并加盖公章），并注明申请人的工资。

格鲁吉亚驻华使馆相关要求原文如下： 

An applicant should submit a visa application through the website: http://www.geoconsul.gov.ge and upload the following documents:

1）Signed visa application – After you fill out all the forms, the program will generate the visa application, under the name “Other Official Document” – you will be given the temporary username and password for your account. Please sign in, download the application from the documents section, sign, scan and upload to the program;

2）Passport scanned cop;

3）Visa fee payment receipt;

4）Travel insurance – must cover the period of visa validity (90 days) and please take into consideration the processing time as well;

5）Work Contract (should be registered in the Ministry of Labour and Health);

6）Letter from the Employer or invitation;

7）Employer Company’s Registration documents from the Civil Registry;

8）Annual bank turnover for the company;

9）Bank statement for past 3 months (for applicant himself);

10）Photo – soft copy (Digital high quality photo, 4x5 size, taken against white background, 70-75% of a photo should be a head, without any jewelry, sunglasses or makeup. Not a scanned hard copy);

11）Accommodation letter. If accommodation is provided by the Company, document proving that fact (Lease contract and etc.).

Afterwards, an applicant should visit the Embassy of Georgia and present all the documents in their original form during his/her visa interview. 

Please, take into consideration that according to the Georgian legislation, processing of the application takes up to 30 days.

Each person submits an individual application, the Consular does not accept group applications.

Visa interview and collection of visa can be completed only in person, by the applicant himself/herself.

If the company is newly established, instead of annual turnover, a bank statement showing sufficient funds to pay all employees for three months should be provided.

An employer and employee cannot be the same person. If the person is a director or an owner of the company, a letter from the company's Chief Accountant (signed and sealed with an official stamp) should be provided with the indication of the salary for the one.
